Het enige potlood in zijn soort ter wereld: GRIP 2001. De gepatenteerde Soft-GRIP-zone voorkomt dat vingers wegglijden. De ergonomische driehoekige vorm zorgt voor schrijven zonder vermoeidheid. De coating van het oppervlak is gemaakt van milieuvriendelijke verf op waterbasis, een technologie die voor het eerst werd geïntroduceerd door Faber-Castell. Het lood is volledig gebonden aan de houten rand, waardoor het bijzonder breukvast is.
